The Styx 3m round wooden garden parasol is built from environmentally sourced eucalyptus, a hardwood stronger than most standard parasol woods, giving it a natural, timeless look that suits both traditional and contemporary garden settings. A double pulley rope system makes opening and closing the 3m canopy straightforward, and the 48mm hardwood pole provides the rigidity to support the full canopy spread without flex. The reinforced ribbed frame is built to hold its shape over time, and leather overlays with metal fixings protect the canopy fabric at each rib junction, the point of highest wear on any parasol. The navy 230gsm polyester canopy is rot resistant and pairs well with both wooden garden furniture and contemporary dining sets. For regular cleaning and long-term fabric protection, we recommend the Golden Care Fabrics & Upholstery Kit. A 25kg concrete parasol base is required and sold separately. If the Styx is used through a centre-hole dining table, a 25kg base is sufficient. For freestanding use, a minimum base weight of 50–70kg is recommended.
